The Evolution Jiu-Jitsu Martial Arts School was founded in 2012 by teacher Cristyan Devanir Martins, a 4th-degree black belt. That same year it started a specialization process in child jiu-jitsu training, in addition to the Youth and Adult classes. At the start of 2015, was invited to teach at the Centro Português of Maringá, State of Paraná, Brazil. This partnership transformed the school into a family environment focused on self-defense and fitness.

The Master - Cristyan Martins
Early Years
Cristyan started in martial arts at the age of four in Karate, went through Judo, Capoeira and in 1999 he had his first contact with the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu when invited to train by his older brother.
Beginning with the excellent master Rodrigo Antônio Garcia da Silva “Feijão”, he always received his degrees in the higher place in the world, the podium, honor and privilege of few practitioners of the gentle art, always emphasizing that “evolution becomes constant when you have a high level master.”
Competition
He was several times Champion of regional competitions like Paranaense of Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Champion by teams, two-time World Champion, being graduated black belt in 2009 on Rio de Janeiro and became champion of the Rio Open International in brown belt category, the year in which he won the Paranaense Championship in the “no weight category” and in the Absolute category, reserved in the brown belt. He is also a champion for the New York Spring International Open IBJJF 2024.
In the black belt, he was Champion of the Paranaense competitions in Curitiba 2010, Champion of South Brazilian 2012, Champion of Curitiba Winter 2016, Champion in Floripa Open 2017 and Champion of Curitiba Open 2018. Champion of the Dallas International Open No-GI 2021, Champion of the Orlando Open No-Gi 2021 and 3 third place Pan American No-Gi 2021. Champion of New York Spring Open IBJJF 2024.
Education
Former Lawyer from Nobel College in 2005, graduated in the city of Maringá, Paraná and later, graduated in Physical Education from Unifamma, also in the city of Maringá in 2016.
He postgraduate Studies in Criminal Sciences in 2008, but left the profession of Lawyer to dedicate only and exclusively to his greatest passion, practicing Jiu-Jitsu.
Approved in the course of referees of the Brazilian Confederation of Jiu-Jitsu in 2012, taking arbitration courses by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation in London 2013, New York 2014, Portugal, Boston and Las Vegas in 2019, having served as a referee in Championships Brazilians and Internationals, such as Pan-American, European Non-Gi and South American.
Currently, he has been dedicated exclusively to improving his own school and teachers, allowing students to learn more pleasantly and efficiently.

Cristyan is an excellent teacher! If you want learn about Jiu-Jitsu, this is the right place!! My daughter is just 3 years old and she loves all classes! Cristyan has a natural ability to deal with kids and he is always alert giving attention for each one. For adults it seems an excellent cardio exercise besides the martial training, because you really exercise all body parts. Even if you never heard about Jiu-Jitsu before, you should go there to see with your own eyes!!
