How to Choose the Right BJJ Academy on Cape Cod

Not all martial arts schools are the same. Here's what to look for when choosing an academy.

Qualified instructors

Ask about the head instructor's background and lineage.

A welcoming culture

Visit and watch a class. Are beginners treated well? Do students help each other?

Structured curriculum

A clear plan for beginners helps you progress instead of guessing.

Cleanliness and safety

Mats should be clean, and rolling should be controlled.

Programs that fit your family

Look for options for kids, adults, and different interests.

Convenient location

Choose somewhere you can realistically get to several times a week. For Mid-Cape residents, our Hyannis academy at 1513 Iyannough Rd is centrally located.

We invite you to visit Cristyan Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy and see if it's the right fit.
